My name is Helen Morris and I am an independent journalist, editor, consultant, and photographer who has travelled to 93 countries to interview major-sized and niche start-up businesses during a career spanning over a decade.

Since I set up Helen Morris Media Ltd my reporting has included face-to-face interviews in China, Japan, Indonesia and South Korea, India, Russia, and the Middle East, across European nations and Africa, and in the USA, Canada and South America.

Sectors covered include emerging and developed economies, demographics, retail, forestry, tissue and paper production, logistics, sustainability and ‘greenwashing’, energy use, marketing, e-commerce, and innovative thinking across all these fields.

I have lived and worked in London, Brazil, Brussels and Singapore.

For over a decade I have written for a broad range of weekly and bi-monthly B2B titles as well as single-handedly directed, written and produced the editorial content for over 90 globally-read print and digital B2B trade magazines and bi-weekly news bulletins.

This involves working alongside event directors, marketeers, designers, social media strategists and sales colleagues around the world, as well as interviewing Chief Executives, company owners and conference delegates, representing my client’s trade exhibitions, conferences and magazines to industries globally.

Knowledge-driven conferences

From my reporting, I’ve advised on conference strategy, themes, and suggested speakers for industry-leading conferences in Miami, Düsseldorf, Milan, Bangkok, Shanghai, São Paulo, Istanbul and Barcelona.
